Most of the teams took a little break last week in game action only played one game the past week.  Centenary was the only team to play multiple games for the week.   

Centenary (2-6) was the only one to play multiple games for the week with two road games with split results over the week.   The Ladies headed to Conway, AR and came up short against Hendrix College.   Jazzmyn Jones was the top score with 9 points.  Addy Tremie and Jennae Mayberry crashed the boards with 9 rebounds each.   Their fortune was a little better on Saturday in Alabama winning over Birmingham Southern 89-82.   Destini Powell had a great game hit 3 of 8 from beyond the arc and finishing with a double-double of 33 points and 16 rebounds.  Addy Tremie also accomplished a double-double finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds.  Jazzmyn Jones scored 14 points.   Centenary will kick off conference play on Wednesday as they will play Dallas on the road. 

LSUS (5-6) took the home 56-46 win over the Jackson, MS based Tougaloo College.  This is the second win for the Lady Pilots over the Lady Bulldogs as they grabbed a 60-49 win back in October.   DeAuja Thompson grabbed a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds in the win.  Kiara Collins netted 13 points for the Lady Pilots.   LSUS will continue the D1 exhibition challenges as they will head to Baton Rouge to take on Southern University on Tuesday night.

BPCC (5-4, 0-1) Lady Cavaliers dropped their first division and conference game falling 82-45 to the Tyler Junior College Lady Apaches.  DaNae Williams was the only scorer in double digits with 17 points.  Ma’Kaila Lewis was the top rebounder with 9.   The Lady Cavaliers will get their first home game in 25 days as they will face conference foe Trinity Valley CC.   They will close out next week with a game against 903 Elite on Saturday. 

SUSLA (2-7) stayed close the first half of the first quarter and then the nationally rank Angelina Lady Roadrunners began roll to the 94-34 win.   The Lady Jags will play their fifth and sixth consecutive games on the road as they will play Southwest Mississippi CC on Thursday and Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Friday afternoon.   The Lady Jags will take a break for the rest of the month and start back on January 8 with a home game against Texas Storm.
