District 1-2A (Lakeside) (April 18)

The Loyola Flyers and Lady Flyers claimed the district championships in Sibley at Lakeside High School.  D’Arbonne Woods finished as district runner-up for the boys.  The Green Oaks Lady Giants claimed the district runner-up on the girls

Loyola took 31 medals at the district meet for both the boys and girls.  Saniya Paglialunga-Simon won three medals for the Lady Flyers.   Paglialunga-Simon won the 100 (12.91) and 200 (27.51) and finished second in the long jump.  The Lady Flyer’s 4 x 800 (12:00.37) claimed the district title.  Members of the 4 x 800 relay were Emily Anderson, Mattie McIntyre, Brooke Tuminello, and Amelia Haynes.  Anderson and McIntyre were also part of the runner-up 4 x 400 team.  Other members of the 4 x 400 squad were Ainsley Matlock and Grace Shepherd.  The 4 x 200 team finished in third.  Members of the 4 x 200 team were Maya Guzman, Ammya Tran, Sophia Kerr, and Lola Stimits.  Stimits also claimed the district title in the high jump (4-8).  Guzman, Tran, and Kerr were also part of the third-place 4 x 100 team.  Katelyn McNeill was also a part of the 4 x 100 team and finished second in the 100 hurdles.   Ellen Dart took two medals finishing third in the high jump and pole vault.  Emily Williams was declared district champ in 800 (2:32.41).  Cameron Tucker took top honors in the 300 hurdles (56.37).  Hayden DeBroeck won the pole vault competition (7-0).  Isabella Cascio finished as district runner-up in the 3200 long run.  Emma Sipes was runner-up in the triple jump.  Mary Walker finished third in the 3200 run.  Amari Jackson finished third in the shot put. 

Mark Henry gave the Flyers boy track squad three medals with a win in the 4 x 800 relay and third place medals in the 800 and as part of the 4 x 400.  Other members of the district champ 4 x 800 team (9:09.68) and third place 4 x 400 were Carter Ward, Reese Jacobs, and Landon Hooper.   Franklin Roemer showed dominance once again in the long 1600 (4:44.98)  and 3200 (10:08.98) runs winning both district titles.  Roemer had to share the district title with Calvary’s Jackson Burney gaining the same time.  Collin Tran also dominated the hurdles winning both the 110 hurdles (16.23) and 300 hurdles (43.71).  Eli Baker won the high jump (5-10) followed by Easton Baker in second.  Cooper DeFatta claimed the javelin title (142-1).  Reece Armagost finished second in the pole vault.  Ben Pickett finished third in the pole vault. 

Green Oaks girls finished as the district runner-up mainly behind the strength of their relay squads.   The Lady Giants claimed both the 4 x 100 (53.44) and 4 x 200 (1:53.66) district titles and finished third in the 4 x 400.   Members of the 4 x 100 team were Markevia Green, Shatimolyn Griffin, Aa’Leigha Callins, and Va’Dejah Harris.  Green, Callins, and Harris were also part of the 4 x 200 relay squad along with Shaniyah Draper.  Callins, Harris, and Draper were part of the 4 x 400 relay team along with Ziya Washington.  Markevia Green also claimed two individual medals in finishing second in the 100 dash and 200 run.  Shatimolyn Griffin also took two individual medals back to Shreveport placing second in the 300 hurdles and finishing third in the long jump.  Draper won a district championship in the triple jump (32-5).  Ziya Washington finished second in the 400 run.  Deshayla Harrison finished third in the triple jump.   Amarion Dorsey gave the boys’ Giant track team three medal.  Dorsey won the 100 (11.39) and finished runner-up in the 200 and long jump.  Cortaveus Dorsey won the triple jump (41-4) and was part of the third place 4 x 200 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 200 relay team were Corzavion Tucker, Delarrious Marshall, and Jaylan Burks.  Tucker finished as runner-up in the 110 hurdles.  Burks finished second as part of the 4 x 800 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 800 team were Joseph Carroll, Jomariyion Collins, and Ethan Roberts.  Carroll finished as runner up in the 300 hurdles as Collins was third.  Keven Richardson tossed the shot put to a third place medal. 

Lakeside Lady Warriors reached the medal podium seven times.  Madison McGraw claimed a district championship in the 3200 long run (16:28.83).  McKenzie Chase won the pole vault (7-0) titles for the Lady Warriors.  Lexi Bradley finished runner-up in the 1600.  Krystal Cornelious was second in the discus.  Lillian Joy completed the 800 in third place.  Bailey Mangrum took third in the 300 hurdles.  Aybrie Parker took bronze in the javelin.   Omero Urbina gave the host team two medals.  Urbina finished second in the 400 and as part of the 4 x 400 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 400 group were Jordan Case, Jaylon Jackson, and JaCoby Curry.  Tarmarjah Ferrell also won two medals for the Warriors.  Ferrell finished district runner-up in the triple jump and was third with the 4 x 100 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 100 team were Jeremiah Allen, Joshua Sebald, and Jacob Whitehead.  The Warriors found success in the throwing events.  Kentravion Miller won the shot put (38-2).  Connor Wood took top honors in the discus (107-0) and Jamarrion Evan finished second.  Chad Davis was district runner-up in the javelin.   Rodney Smith claimed the long jump (20-6) district title. 

Calvary’s Jackson Burney claimed three district championships for the Cavaliers.   Burney won the 800 (2:04.19) and shared the 1600 title (4:44.98) with Franklin Roemer from Loyola.   Burney was also part of the winning 4 x 400 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 400 team were Kolby Thomas, John Simon, and Landon Sylvie.   Kolby Thomas and John Simon were also part of the winning 4 x 200 squad.  Also part of the 4 x 200 were Detravion Davis and Julius Moss.  Thomas made a third appearance on a medaling second place 4 x 100 squad which included Davis, Moss, and Chaz Whitaker.  Ty Knight claimed two medals for the Cavalier finishing second in the 800 and third in the 400.  David Weeks grabbed bronze in the discus.  Two Lady Cavalier place at the district meet.  Anna Sarkozi was district champ in the 1600 (6:13.39).  Ryleigh Wilcutt was third in the discus. 

North Caddo Lady Titan’s Symiah Edwards claimed the lone girls district championship winning the long jump (16-10).  Edward also finished second with the 4 x 100 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 100 relay teams were Anniya Rogers, Mikayah Hankins, and Janniya Baker.  Rogers claimed an individual third place medal in the 100 dash.  MIkayah Green finished third in the 200.  Saniea Lewis finished third in the 100 hurdles.   Anotonio Moore claimed two district titles in the 200 (23.10) and as a member of the 4 x 100 relay team (44.22).  Other members of the 4 x 100 team were Rasheed Matthews, Rodney Thomas, and Quay Vinson.  Matthews, Vinson, and Moore were part of the runner-up 4 x 200 relay team along with Davion Buffin.  Matthews finished third in the 100 dash.  Christian Eddins placed third in the 110 hurdles. 

District 3-2A (Red River) (April 18)

Mansfield claimed both the boys and girls district championship in Coushatta at the District 3-2A track meet.  Winnfield outlasted Jonesboro-Hodge by one point for the district runner-up in the boys.  The Jonesboro-Hodge girls took runner-up in the district team race.  

Mansfield girls dominated in the District 3-2A.  The Lady Wolverines won three relay races 4 x 100 (50.39), 4 x 200 (1:48.25), and 4 x 400 (5:22.72).  La’TyKeunna Sicks won both the 100 (12.35) and 200 (25.39).  Chelsea S took two district titles winning 1600 (7:50.60) and pole vault (6-11.75).  Kaitlynn McDaniel won two three titles in the discus (106-9) and shot put (32-8.25),  Zakhia Austin finished district runner-up in the 200 and 400.  Germanee Robertson was runner-up in the 100 and placed third in the long jump.  DaKinsey Milton finished runner-up in the pole vault.  Nadia Williams also finished second in the 1600.  Arial Hamilton placed third in the 100 hurdles.  Dalronique Ross took third in the triple jump.  The Wolverine boys relay teams also claimed district championships in the 4 x 100 (44.31), 4 x 200 (1:31.24), and 4 x 400 (3:35.52).  Isaac Jenkins claimed three medals for the Desoto Parish school.  Jenkins won the high jump (6-0.5) and long jump (22-2.5) and was runner-up in the 400.  Jaden Youngblood also won two gold medals for the Wolverines taking top honors in the 110 hurdles (14.66) and 300 hurdles (38.82).  Nick Davis also took two first place medals in the 200 (22.12) and 400 (49.33).  Jaden Ross claimed a district runner-up in the 100 and third in the pole vault.  Zion Wyatt took a district championship in the 800 (2:16.17).  Cleveland Wells was runner-up in the 200.  Nick Bailey was second in the high jump.  Jakorian Greer finished third in the 3200. 

Winnfield Tigerette’s track team claimed three district titles.  Winnfield won the 4 x 800 relay race (14:45.73).  Jasmine Jones claimed the 800 (2:54.62) crown.  Azalea McMiller won the triple jump (33-0.5) and finished runner-up in the 300 hurdles.  Breanna Pray, Bailey Lenard, and Samoria Bell all finished in third place in the 800, 1600, and shot put, respectively.  The 4 x 100 relay team finished second while the 4 x 200 relay claimed third.  The Winnfield Tiger’s Kaden Victor took two district titles winning both the 1600 (5:28.84) and 3200 (12:04.35).  Victor was runner-up in the 800.  Manuel Espejel took the discus (122-4) district title and third in the shot put.  Jake Jones was district runner-up in the javelin.  Sam Jones, Breylan Starks, and Keith Hamilton all place third in the discus, 100 dash, and triple jump, respectively.  The 4 x 100 relay team finished second while the 4 x 800 team was third. 

Quandymon Williams claimed the only Many Lady Tigers district championship winning the 400 (1:06.42).  Denasia Holden took two medals finishing third in the 400 and high jump.  Emily Miller placed second in the javelin.  Zyon Maxie and Malorye Foster both finished third in the triple jump and javelin, respectively.   Isaac Sweet medaled in all four of his events.  Sweet won the 100 (11.45) and was runner-up in the long jump and placed third in the two hurdle events.  Sean Mitcham also claimed multiple medals winning the pole vault (9-6.25) and runner-up in the triple jump.  The 4 x 800 relay team also took top honors for the Tigers.  Joseph Yount once again took gold home in the javelin (149-4.25).  Jatlya Mitchell and Jaxon Foster each finished district runner-up in the discus and pole vault, respectively.  John Harris was third in the 800.  

Jonesboro-Hodge’s Ciara Gray and A’Jorrianna Hoggro looked like it was a race against each other as both finished with four medals.  Gray won the 100 hurdles (18.04) and 300 hurdles (49.45) while Hoggro finished runner-up in the 100 hurdles and third in the 300 hurdles.  Hoggro won the high jump (4-7.5) and long jump (15-2.75) while Gray finished second in long jump.  Gray finished district runner-up in the triple jump.  Sydney Malone finished district runner-up in discus.  The 4 x 400 girls relay team finished second.   Three of the JHHS relay team finished as district runner-ups in the 4 x 200, 4 x 400, and 4 x 800.  Savantez Phillips claimed two district runner-ups in the two hurdle competitions.  Daelan Boston was second in the 1600.  Kaden Whisaent was second in the 3200.  Symeon Malone finished third in the discus. 

Lakeview’s Alonna Henderson won the javelin (93-11.25) competition.  Ja’Niyah Armstrong was district runner-up in the high jump.  Trinity Browder finished second in the shot put.  The Lakeview Gator’s boys track team found success in the jumping events.  Dillon Pikes won the triple jump (44-3).  Clinton Jones, Jr.  finished third in the high jump and long jump.  Treston Carter also claimed a third place medal in the 400. 

The host Red River boys team made the podium seven times.  Leonard Mosley won the shot put (46-9) while Desmond Mitchell finished second.  Terrell Gray was third in the 200.  Lamorris Wiley finished third in the 1600.  The 4 x 100, 4 x 200, and 4 x 400 all finished third in each race.  

District 1-A Meet (Haynesville) (April 19)

Haynesville dominated District 1-A  in both the girls and boys district track meet in Haynesville.  Glenbrook girls finished second place and Ringgold boys finished second. 

Haynesville made 37 separate appearances on the podium for both the boys and the girls.  

Isaiah Washington collected three separate individual medals.  Washington won the 300 hurdles (45.11) and runner-up in the 110 hurdles and triple jump.  Alonzo Jackson finished winning two individual events.  Jackson won the 100 dash (10.57) and 200 run (22.46).  Damondra Martin won two medals winning the 400 (57.77) and runner-up in the long jump.  Carl Smith also gain multiple medals winning the 3200 (12:44.27) and finished second in the 1600. Germerian Williams won the discus (119-7) and was runner-up in the 800 run.  Dustin Miles collected two medals finish second in the 3200 and third in the 1600 run.  Toby Franklin won the shot put (43-0).  Byruss Burns gained gold in the 110 hurdles (15.98).  Zykerius Fielding gained top honors in the 800 run (2:25.06).  Nakel Gill was second in the javelin throw.  Kentavious Watts was runner-up in the discus.  Jermarquis Hampton snagged second in the 300 hurdles.  Yasin Meadors was third in the javelin. The boys relays won all three relay races:  4 x 100 (44.24), 4 x 200 (1:31.54), and 4 x 400 (3:55.04).  Kahlia Washington gave the Lady Tors three medals at the district meet.  Washington won both the high jump (4-8) and 100 hurdles (18.35) and was runner-up in the triple jump. Zyariah Mosi won the triple jump (31-3) and was runner-up in the long jump.  Layla Tell also gained two medals with winning the javelin (87-7) and second in the high jump.  Alayna Tabor had two third place finishes in the 1600 and 3200.  Arienna Penegar was district runner-up in the discus.  Balaysia Drew finished third in the javelin.  ZaNaiya Kingsby was third in the 200.  The Haynesville girls relay was runner-up in the 4 x 200 and 4 x 400.

Arcadia made 14 appearances on the medal podium.  Omareion Carr took two third place medals in the two hurdle competitions.  Ryheem Abney was district runner-up in the 400 m run.  Dmitri Carr II finished with a bronze medal in the discus.  Bratreviauntae Ferrell took third in the 200 run.  The Hornets relay teams placed in all three races.  Arcadia boys finished second in the 4 x 400 and third in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200.  The Lady Hornets’ JaKyria Cockerham took two medals winning the 300 hurdles (58.95) and finished second in the 100 dash.  London Bell was third in the 100 hurdles.  Janiyah Mays also had a third place finish in the 800.  Rhyanna Abney also took third in the 400.  The Lady Hornets 4 x 400 finished third. 

Glenbrook girls finished as district runner-up and reaches the podium 10 times.  Vivian Still took two medals winning the 800 (2:44.63) and finished second in the 400.  Laurie Kilgore won the 3200 (15:40.81) and placed second in the 800 run.  Seventh grader Emerson McLelland won the 1600 (7:01.35) and was runner-up in the 3200.  Anna Morales was runner-up in the javelin.  Hallie Harmon finished second in the shot put.  Olivia Downer took third in the triple jump.  The girls 4 x 400 relay team finished second.  Carson Powell became the boys district champ in the 1600 (5:31.77).  Turner McLelland finished third in the 400 race.  Nick Kilgore took third in the 3200.

Ringgold’s J’Barri Adams collected two medals completing the district competition of second in high jump and third in the triple jump.  Antravion Kinsey was third in the long jump.  Ladaunte McCoy finished third in the high jump.  Jyshawn Marshall tossed to a third place finish.  Jordyn Wilson raced to third place medal.  The Ringgold boys relay teams finished second in the 4 x 100 and third in the 4 x 400.  Rihanna Adams claimed a district title in the long jump (15-1).  Faith Clifton was second in the 1600.  Nataysha Gray finished third in the high jump. 

Jarek Shelton took two gold medals down the road to Homer.  Shelton won the long jump (21-1) and triple jump (41-0). Tymarrion Knowles also captured two medals.  Knowles won the javelin (156-5) and second in the shot put.  Gregory Williams was district runner-up.  Katrevick Banks claimed a bronze medal in the 100.  The Homer Pelican’s boy relay team finished second in the 4 x 200.   Sha’Niya Webb was third in the girls long jump.  Jacelyn Young placed third in the shot put.  Katreuna Scott was third in the discus. 

The Plain Dealing Lady Lions relay teams won the 4 x 100 (52.20) and 4 x 200 (1:49.08).  Brianna Newton won two events including the shot put (33-3) and discus (99-1).  Aj’sia Debose took two medals back to Bossier Parish.  Debose won the 100 (12.79) and second in the 200.  Kianna Newton placed third in the 100.  Eli James gave the Lions a gold medal in the high jump (5-8).  Aaron Reddix was district runner-up in the 100. 

Magnolia School of Excellence Lady Mariners made eight podium appearances.  Lyric Williams claimed two medals.  Williams placed second in the 100 hurdles and third in the 300 hurdles.  Rayonna Evans won the 400 m run (1:05.43).  Makaya Sanders and Desiray Markson finned as district runner-up in the 300 hurdles and 200 run, respectively.  The Lady Mariners won the relay 4 x 400 (4:55.95) and and third in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200.

District 2-A (Ouachita Christian) (April 19)

Ouachita Christian dominated both the boys and girls district championship.  St. Frederick claimed the district runner-up for both.  

Cedar Creek’s Annie Jones claimed three medals.  Jones won the high jump (4-8) and runner-up in the javelin and as part of the 4 x 400.  Other members of the 4 x 400 team were Maddison Morris, Caroline James, and Lindsay Osafo.  Morris also won an individual medal in the 800 (2:30.75).  James finished as runner-up in the 1600 run.  Ashlyn Bourn won the discus (98-6).  Anna Grace Lee claimed a district runner-up in the 200 m run.  Mallory Smith finished third in the 100 dash.  Cara Beth Hill received bronze medal in the 400. The Cougars track saw Myles Carpenter Head won two first place medals in the long runs.  The Cougae long runner won the 1600 (4:517) and  3200 (11:21.39).  The Cougars finished as runner-up in the 4 x 400 relay.  Members of the relay team were John Abram Earle, James Myers, Taye Farrar, and Alex Simpson.  Earle also won the 800 (2:20.63).  James Myers finished third in the 400 run.  Cole Morganthall was secons in the pole vault. 

Lincoln Prep’s Shredreana Green took the district title in the shot put (34-11.25).  Cenario Wilson took three medals back to Grambling.  Wilson was runner-up in the high jump and third in the 200 and as part of the 4 x 100.  Other members of the 4 x 100 were Stephen Burks, Jamarrion Buggs, and Lamarion Buggs.   

District 3-1A (Logansport) (April 20)

The District 3-1A meet was held and Montgomery captured both boys and girls district titles.  Logansport boys were district runner-up.  Northwood-Lena Lady Gators were district runner-ups.  

Logansport Tigers relay team won two relay teams for 4 x 200 (1:29.80) and 4 x 400 (3:48.33) and placed second in the 4 x 100.  Jamarcus Jones won two first place medals in the 100 (10.60) and 200 (21.34).  Omarius Colbert took district title in the 400 (56.26).  D’Avery Robinson won the 110 hurdles (16.58).  Khameron Boykins finished first in the long jump (20-1).  Ashton Thomas won the 300 hurdles (51.35).  Devin Boykins finished second in the 110 hurdles.  Jordan Meshell was district runner-up in the 300 hurdles.  Jakerrion Wilson finished second in the long jump.  D’War’Tez Chatman high jump reached to a second place finish. Treville Townsley took third in the discus. The Lady Tigers reached the medal podium with a runner-up from Mattie Parham in the shot put and Aniyah Claybrook finished third in the discus. 

St. Mary’s Addison Ivey took three medals.  Ivey won the 100 hurdles (18.23) and 300 hurdles (1:00.94) and was second in the 100 dash.  Summer Rodrigue won the 400 (1:14.06) and third in the 1600.  Chloe Methvin completed the 200 and 400 in third place.  Sophia Hogg won the district in the 800 (3:05.29).  Tyonnah Burton won the javelin throw (102-8).  Chalin Gandy won the boys pole vault (9-6.25). Ben Bienvenu finished second in the shot put. 

District 1-B (Castor) (April 19)

Quitman Wolverines and Lady Wolverines claimed the boys and girls team district championship.  The Wolverines barely edged out Castor boys.  Castor girls finished as district runner-up 

The Lady Wolverines’ Kaleigh King medals in all four of her events.  King claimed the district title in the 300 hurdles (54.27) while claiming runner-up in the 100 hurdles and third in the pole vault.  King was also a member of the second place 4 x 800 relay.  Other members of the 4 x 800 were Megan Kelly, Kinley Walker, and Maddie Grace Giddens.  Megan Kelly took the individual title in the 1600 (6:48.22) and runner-up in the 800.  Kinley Walker placed third in the 800.  Maddie Grace Giddens was district runner-up in the 3200 but was part of the district champion 4 x 100 team and 4 x 200 teams.  Both relay teams included Neysha Johnson, Emaysha Wiley, and Bethany Leach.  Leach finished as runner-up in the long jump.  Johnson finished third in the 100 dash.  Wiley completed the 200 in third place.  Taylor Borland grabbed third place medals in the two hurdle races.  Emma Carter claimed the high jump (4-10) district crown. Jaleigh Burns finished as runner-up in the 1600.  Lily Kate Odom was second in the triple jump.  Brayden Smith claimed three district championships for the Wolverines winning the 200 (24.59) and as part of the 4 x 100 (46.77) and 4 x 200 (1:38.63) relay champs.  Smith also gained a runner-up in the 100.  Members of the 4 x 100 were Geoffrey Maxwell, Bryan Lay, and Jayden Harts.  Members of the 4 x 200 along with Smith, Maxwell, and Harts was Nathan Harvey.  Maxwell finished third in the 100 dash.  Bryan Lay also picked up a district championship in the pole vault (13-0) and a third place in the 400.  Harts had two third place finishes in the long jump and 300 hurdles.  Nathan Harvey became a three time district champion when he added the 110 hurdles (18.74) and 300 hurdles (47.52) to his list.  Taylor Huddleston was also a multiple district champion in the 800 (2:19.99) and 1600 (5:17.29) along with runner-up from the 3200 and as part of the 4 x 400 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 400 relay team were Nicholas Kliebert, James Pabaya, and Abel Leach.  Kleibert finished second in the 800 and third in the high jump.  Gage Horton was a dual medal winner claiming first in the 3200 (12:25.09) and second in the 1600.  Sebastian Guin was second in the shot put.  Bryce Cotton finished third in the discus.  Asher Shultz’s javelin throw placed third. 

Castor’s Kailey Ann Shirley gained three medals at the district meet.  Shirley finished second in the javelin and 400 run and won as part of the 4 x 400 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 400 team were Jenna Braggs, Hannah Milner, and Zoie Loftin.  Braggs also collected a runner-up in the pole vault and a third place as part of the 4 x 200 relay team.  Along with Braggs, Millner and Loftin was Ambree Collinsworth on the 4 x 200 team.  Collinsworth won the javelin (109-7) competition.  Melayah Rogers found success in the throwing event winning the discus (80-0) and runner-up in the shot put.  Anna Jones placed in both long runs winning the 3200 (19:46.07) and finished third in the 1600.  Stormy Watson took two third place medals in the discus and shot put.  Anna Kate Myers won the pole vault (9-0) comptetion.  Antwon Bolyer gave the Tigers four medals including winning the 100 (12.10) and runner-ups in the 200, long jump, and as part of the 4 x 200 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 200 team are Seth Pickett, Gage Jordan, and Brenden Cox.  Pickett was also the district champion in the 400 (56.81) and second in the pole vault.  Cox finished third in the pole vault and as part of the winning 4 x 400 relay team.   Other members of the 4 x 400 team were Benjamin Warren, DeAndre Clark, and Jamarion Clark.  Jamarion Clark claimed two more district titles in the high jump (5-10) and triple jump (41-9.75).  DeAndre Clark won the long jump (20-7) and finished second in the 300 hurdles.  Benjamin Warren picked up two third places in the 800 and 1600.  Austin Cooper took runner-ups in the 400 and triple jump.  Dawson Wood won the shot put (46-2).  Johnathan Warren took the javelin competition (136-3) crown.  Caden Bryan was second in the discus.  Braydon Young finished third in the 110 hurdles. 

Izayla Harris posted another perfect four first places for four completed events.  Harris won the 100 (12.36), 200 (26.15), 400 (1:01.24), and triple jump (34-11.5).  Takerria Washington won the 800 run (2:48.88) and placed third in the 400 and as part of the 4 x 400 relay team.  Other 4 x 400 relay team members are Elizabeth Wright, Nadia Lara, and Arianna Crump.  Wright was also part of the the third place 4 x 100 team.  Other members of the 4 x 100 team were Keily Sumlin, Sariyah Gill, and Lanie Gates.  Peyton Handy finished third in the long jump and triple jump.  Jonas Florence gained the only gold medal for the Panther boys track team in the discus (98-9).  Noah Spears placed second in the high jump and third in the triple jump.  Caysten Mingo claimed a district runner-up in the javelin and a third place as part of the 4 x 100 team.  The other members of the 4 x 100 were Camron Johnson, Damarion McLendon, and Kenneth Lee.  Zach Moreno claimed bronze in the 3200 long run. 

Weston’s Lexie Millien claimed two district championship along with two runner-ups.  Millien won the 100 hurdles (18.17) and long jump (16-1).  Millien was runner-up as part of the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relay teams.  Other members of the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 teams were Ronneica Kimble, Keely Davis, and Carlynn Waters.  Davis finished as runner-up in the 100 and 300 hurdles.  Kimble was runner-up in the 200.  Jalexia Caldwell placed first in the shot put (33-9) and second in the discus.  Raelynn Shell took third in the javelin.  The Weston Wolves 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relay teams finished as district runner-ups.  The members of the two teams were Daniel Albert, Gage Albert, Darin Allen, and Ja’Quincy Bryant.  Jaydon Simmons was runner-up in the 110 hurdles.  Daniel Watlington finished third in the 200 run.  Juan Gonzales was third in the shot put. 

District 2-B (Choudrant) (April 19)

The Choudrant Aggies claimed the men’s track team title barely squeaking by Simsboro 

91-86.  Simsboro girls took the team title with 83 points.  Forest finished as runner-up in the girls. 

Simsboro’s Ikeia Brown and Lauryn Vernon both posted perfect four for four performances.  Brown won the 100 (12.52), 100 hurdles (15.75), 300 hurdles (49.74), and high jump (4-8).  Vernon won the 200 (27.49), long jump (15-6.75), triple jump (32-7), and was part of the winning 4 x 100 relay team (53.65).  Other members of the 4 x 100 team are Curniya McCalister, Jahkeria Abney, and Nuna Rollins.  McCalister was runner-up in the 100 dash.  Abney grabbed a third place individual award in the 200 run and second in the 4 x 200 relay race.  Along with Abney and Rollins, Jamaya Crump and Cheyenne Deloney were part of the 4 x 200 relay race.  Crump snagged two individual medals finishing second in the 100 hurdles and third in the 300 hurdles.  Vahsanti Sprouls won the shot put (30-11) and placed third in the discus.  Bella Coon won the 400 race (1:12.46).  Breana King placed first in the 800 (3:06.84).  Amani Dean was district runner-up in the shot put.  Selena Colohua placed third in the 800.   Simsboro Tigers boys track team also had two perfect performances winning four for four.  Kendrick Craig won the 100 (11.08) and as part of the 4 x 100 (45.37), 4 x 200 (1:37.81), and 4 x 400 (3:49.47).  Jalen Outley also joined Craig in the 4 x 100, 4 x 200, and 4 x 400 victories along with his own in the 200 (23.58).  Other members of the 4 x 100 team were Jalen Beard and Dillon Kitchens.  Other members of the 4 x 200 team were Itavus Brown and Dillon Kitchens.  Other members of the 4 x 400 team were Itavus Brown and Tristan Deloney.   Deloney captured two first place individual medals in the 400 (54.96) and 1600 (5:09.00).  Kitchens won the triple jump (38-7) and was district runner-up in the 300 hurdles.  Itavus Brown had two individual runner-ups in the 400 and 110 hurdles.  Jalen Beard took third in the long jump.  Trent Buggs won the 300 hurdles (45.21) and finished second in the long jump.  Valley Reppo won the 800 (2:26.47) and placed third in the 3200.  Gary Harris was district runner-up in both the shot put and discus.  Bryson Yarbrough captured the district crown in the javelin (110-10).  Cayden Barfield and Parker Lewis each took third place in the 800 and shot put, respectively.  

Emily Snider gave the Lady Aggies two medals including winning the 800 (3:17.00) placing third as part of the 4 x 200 relay team.  Other members of the team were Kamryn Rhodes, Heather Murphy, and Kadence Nugent.  Rhodes was also a district champ in the 1600 (6:20.47).  Heather Murphy also placed third as part of the 4 x 100 team.  Other members of the 4 x 100 team were My’Kailah Moore, Ivy Collinsworth, and Reese Brown.  Brown claimed an individual runner-up in the high jump.  Melanie Murphy won the javelin (78-4).  Alyssa Bell was right behind in second place.  Tanya Mina finished the 1600 in second place.  Sadie Jones claimed a district runner-up in the discus.  Alivia Hester finished third in the shot put. For the Aggies boy track team, Dee Moore won three medals.  Moore won the long jump (18-10.25) and was third in the 100.  Moore was also part of the runner-up 4 x 100 relay team along with Jailan Parker, Layne Frasier, and Treden Cage.  Parker took an individual second place medal in the 100.  Frasier also grabbed an individual runner-up in the 200 along with being a part of the runner-up 4 x 200 relay team.  Also on the 4 x 200 team was Cage along with Cameron Grice and Demarcus Leonard.  Grice collected a third place in the 200.  Trevor Elmore took three medals for Choudrant.  Elmore finished as runner-up in the high jump and third place in the 400.  Elmore also finished second along with the 4 x 400 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 400 team were Garrett Spearman, Hagen Davis, and Benton Case.  Spearman was district runner-up in the 800.  Davis took second in the 1600 while Case finished third.  Lawson Stevens won the high jump (5-6) and placed second in the triple jump.  Connor Thompson also was a district champ in the 110 hurdles (18.21) while finishing third in the 300 hurdles.  Owen Watson won the 3200 (14:05.94).  Bo Collinsworth claimed the pole vault title (9-8).  Jadon Newton won the shot put (42-4).  Payton Doss took the discus title (126-4.5).  Declan Smith finished second in the 3200.  Augden Watson was second in the pole vault.  Roan Thompson claimed silver in the javelin.  Third place finishers were Jacobee Zeigler, Trevor Trevillion, and Roger Underwood in the 110 hurdles, discus, and javelin, respectively. 

District 3-B (Converse) (April 19)

Converse pulled the double dsitrict championship winning both the boys and girls titles.  Florien girls finished as district runner-up.  Zwolle finished as the boys runner-up.

Gracie Garcie snagged three medals for the Converse Lady Wildcats.  Garcie won the 300 hurdles (58.35) will finish second with both the 4 x 200 relay and 4 x 400 relay teams.  Other members of the 4 x 200 relay were Bailey Rutherford, Kayli Morgan, and Zoey Raborn.  Rutherford and Morgan were also members of the 4 x 200 along with Sienna Laroux.  Rutherford finished second in the 100 hurdles.  Raborn finished second in the triple jump.  Laroux captured a district runner-up in the 400 run.  Trinity Brumfield won district titles in the 100 hurdle (19.40) and triple jump (29-3).  Brumfield also finished third in the 300 hurdles.  Abigail Bozeman continued to be the queen of the track long run winning the 1600 (6:16.00) and 3200 (13:39.60).  Ava Ezernack won the shot put (29-1) and finished as runner-up in the discus.  Melissa Pritchard also won a district title in the discus (76-0) and was second in the javelin,  Blakelee Mann took first place in the pole vault (5-6) and was third in the 200 run,  Irene Dobbs finished with two second place medals in 1600 and pole vault.  Anna Averitt was district runner-up in the 3200.  Preslye Rivers finished second in the long jump.    Converse boys had two perfect performances going four for four.  Auldyn Sepulvado won the 100 race (11.55) and as part of all three winning 4 x 100 (46.59), 4 x 200 (1:37.04), and 4 x400 (3:54.75) relay teams.  Jayden Reynolds was also part of all three winning relay teams and also won the 400 (54.99).  Other members of the 4 x 100 team were Camden Callender and Chezny Reed.  Other members of the 4 x 200 team were Johnnie Rhodes and Chezny Reed.  Other members of the 4 x 400 teams were Johnnie Rhodes and Clayton Rivers.  Camden Callendar also had two third place finishes in the 100 and 200.  Chezny Reed finished as runner-up in the 200.  Johnnie Rhodes was third in the 400.  Clayton Rivers collected two individual medals winning the 110 hurdles (19.27) and finished third in the 300 hurdles.  Logan Carter claimed two district titles 1600 (5:23.00) and 3200 (12:08.20).  Carter also had a third place finish in the 800.  Travis Ebarb finished with three second places in the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and triple jump.  Jacob Fager was district runner-up in the 1600 and 3200.  Trevor Dobbs took second in discus and third in shot put.  Eli Smith won the pole vault (8-0).  Colston Vandiver took the district title in the discus (97-0).  Johnnie Rivers was second in the high jump.  

Kayla Kimbrough gave the Zwolle Lady Hawks track squad three medals.  Kimbrough finished second in the high jump and third in the long jump and second as part of the 4 x 100 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 100 relay team were Brianna Lambert, McKayla Price, and Justice Howard.  Justice Howard also placed third in the 100.  Takara Anderson collected two third places in the shot put and discus.  Yasmine Winfield gave the Lady Hawks their only gold winning the high jump (4-2).  Kennedy Green was runner-up in the shot put.  Gaby Quintero placed third in the javelin.   Draven Meshell won two district titles for the Hawks winning the high jump (5-6) and triple jump (38-9).  Meshell is also part of the two runner-ups 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relay teams.  Other members of the 4 x 100 team were Howard Etheridge, Kenneth Montgomery, and William Sepulvado.   Other members of the 4 x 200 team were Howard Etheridge, Kenneth Montgomery, and Preston Sanders.  Etheridge was also a district champion in the 300 hurdles (46.76).  Kenneth Montgomery placed third in the high jump.  Preston Sanders also collected two individual medals placing second in the 100 and third in the long jump.  Cade Howard finished district runner-ups in the shot put and javelin.  Dawson Leone finished third in the 1600 and as part of the runner-up 4 x 400 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 400 team were Leo Bass, Landon Bussey, and Nick Lovelady.  Alec Williams won the 400 (2:19.31) race.  Lukas Montgomery finished third in the 110 hurdles.  

Florien Black Cats and Lady Black Cats went to the podium for 17 times.  Adyson Hall won the long jump (13-11) and finished third in the 400.  Hall was also part of the district champion 4 x 200 (1:59.30) and 4 x 400 (4:47.38) relay teams.  Other members of the 4 x 200 relay team were Lily Sparks, Naveah Williams, and Markalyn Shelby.  Other members of the 4 x 400 team included Ady Benette, Lily Sparks, and Naveah Williams.  Sparks and Williams were also part of the winning 4 x 100 relay (55.93).  Other members of the 4 x 100 were Lehr Turner and Kate Ellzy.  Ady Benette finished runner-up in the 800.  Lehr Turner was also a district champ in the 100 (12.90).  Kate Ellzy was second in the 300 hurdles. Janaya McGrough won the 800 race (2:56.65).  Natalie LeBlanc finished third in the 100 hurdles.  Rankin Alford gave the Black Cats their only runner-up in the high jump.  Alford also was third in the triple jump.  Jimmy Evans had two third place finishes in the discus and javelin.  Drake Hershberger also had two third place finishes in the 3200 and as part of the 4 x 400 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 400 were Jaylon Stewart, Preston Holloway, and Blaine Withers.   The 4 x 100 relay team also placed third.  Members of the 4 x 100 team were Boston Alford, Ayden Sparks, Kennon Richwin, and Josef Rodriguez.  

Negreet’s Ava Brown took four medals back for the Lady Indians.  Brown won the 400 (1:08.28), placed second in the 100 and 200, and placed second as part of the 4 x 100 relay team.  Other members of the 4 x 100 relay team were Kaiya Causey, Skyler Boatman, and Kaiya Miller,  Londyn Malmay claimed a district title in the 200 (31.45).  Allie Payne won the javelin (98-8).  Emma Wilkerson and Alyssa Rhodes each placed third in the 800 and 1600, respectively.  Johnny Holmes gave the Indians two district titles in the 200 (24.32) and long jump (18-6).  Sinciere Gasaway won the shot put (34-5).  Laytan Byles finished first in the javelin (117-7).  Joseph Vines was runner-up in the 400.  Luke Edison was second in the 800.
