Calvary, Red River, Stanley, Grace Christian, and Summerfield all held tournaments this past weekend.
Calvary grabbed both wins in their tournament with wins over 3A Sterlington and Ouachita Christian.
Doyline and Summerfield played in the Summerfield tournament. Doyline took the first round against the Rebels. Two Panthers, Layla Baker and McKenzie Gates, got their first out of the park home runs. Summerfield took the second game on Saturday. Both teams struggled with Montgomery.
Red River hosted Saline, Ringgold, and Arcadia. Ringgold snuck out an 11-10 win over 2A Jonesboro Hodge in their final game of the tournament. Saline got a 15-5 win over in-parish rival Ringgold. The Lady Bobcats also got a win over Mansfield on Friday.
Castor Lady Tigers were supposed to play more than one game in the Stanley tournament. A collision between the team bus and another vehicle on Friday after their game against Plainview. The Lady Tiger decided not to play on Saturday. The Lady Tigers were shaken up but were blessed with no injuries.
