No. 15 Ringgold 59, No. 2 Elton 45

The No. 15 Ringgold Redskins will be returning to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2006 as they have pulled the 59-45 upset over the No. 2 Elton Indians. Keesean Johnson had a stellar night with four 3-pointers on his way to 30 points. Ringgold pounced on a tough first quarter for the Indians and took an early 20-10 lead. Johnson also had a 15 point first quarter to push along the Redskins. Elton closed the gap a little in the second but Ringgold maintained the lead at 33-27 at halftime. Neither team could generate much offense in the third as Ringgold pushed the lead up to 40-32. Johnson turned on the jets again for an 8 point final quarter to give Ringgold the win.
