Blue Goose 2, LA Parish 1

Blue Goose grabbed their first win of the season with a 2-1 win over LA Parish down in Baton Rouge.   The two played to a stalemate to halftime. LA Parish struck first with a goal from Fred Stovall.  Blue Goose rolled back in the 71st minute with a goal from Joel Houston.  Houston scored the deciding goal for Blue Goose in the 78th minute to give the Blue Goose team its first win

With the Texas United and Little Rock wins this week, Blue Goose has been eliminated from the playoffs.

Blue Goose will walk into a playoff-seeking Little Rock Rangers team.  Currently, Little Rock would get the wild-card playoff spot shared by the Lone Star Division.  The better record between the second-place teams between the Mid-South Division and Lone Star Conference will receive a playoff spot.  Little Rock is also still in the hunt with Texas United for the Midsouth Division title.  Blue Goose might have their hands full
