The Shreveport Mavericks know who their opponent will be now in the Central Conference semifinals. The Potawatomi Fire eliminated the Rockwall 76ers 125-83 in Game 2 of the first-round playoffs on Saturday nights. Potawatomi defeated Rockwall 111-96 last Thursday.
The schedule is as follows for the semifinal matchup:

Potawatomi took both games from the Mavericks during the regular season. Shreveport is riding from the end of the season win over top-seeded Enid which locked in their first-round bye. The Fire also brings a six-game winning streak into the series.
On the other side of the bracket, top-seeded Enid will face Dallas Skyline in a two out of three game series.
Coach Tucker’s Mavericks are ready for the challenge of meeting the powerhouse team according to his Coach’s Notes posted on Facebook on Sunday morning:
“Well, it’s here now! We have been preparing all week for our next Opponent. We knew all along who that would most likely be, so we’ve spent the entire week with our focus primarily on them. Now, it’s here! The time when two Powerhouse Teams get it on. This matchup should be happening much later in these Playoffs, for there are too many Powerful Teams in one Division. That needs to change and hopefully, that will be reformatted in the future. Nothing can be done now, and it is what it is, So Let’s Play. It is about the Teams now, and the Players who make up those Teams. The Match-Ups! WOW, Playoff Basketball. So here We Go….. TBL PLAYOFF TIME!”
