The Shreveport Mavericks made it three playoff home wins in a row as they knocked off the Enid Outlaws 130-117 at the Centenary Gold Dome on Wednesday night.  

The Mavericks never gave up a lead the whole game and only endured three ties during the matchup.  The Mavericks took advantage of the Outlaws’ 14 turnovers turning them into 25 points.  Enid only converted 9 points from turnovers.  

Big Paul Harrison buried 35 points and 6 rebounds on the Outlaws. Harrison shot 15 for 23 (65.2%) from the field.  Paul Parks scored 28 points and 5 rebounds.  Parks finished 6 for 13 from 3-point land.  Tavin Cummings added 21 points.  Tyrone Jordan netted 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds and helped on 5 assists.  Bilal Richardson snatched 6 rebounds.  Alani Moore collected 7 assists

Shreveport jumped out to an early 23-17 lead in the first quarter, but Enid cut it down to 30-26 by the end of the first quarter.  The Mavericks grew their lead to 16 points and carried a 67-51 lead at halftime. 

Shreveport maintained the pace in the third and grew the lead slightly to 99-8.  The Mavericks took the biggest lead of the game in the fourth quarter 116-94 (22 points).  Enid closed the gap in the final minute to come up short 130-117.

The series now moves to Enid for possibly the final two games.  Game 2 will be on Friday (June 17) at 7:05.  If Game 3 is necessary, it will be Saturday (June 18) at 7:05.
