The Shreveport Force went on a late fourth-quarter run to run away with the 59-36 win over the Providence Knight on Monday night at Baptist Tabernacle.

The Force had the combination of Jake Becton and Eli Wolfe who each added 19 points for the night.   Ethan Pratt added 10 points for the win tonight.

PCA Knights were led with 16 points by Jordan Orr.

Neither team could get much footing on the other as they traded shots the majority of the first quarter and closed out with a Knights slight lead at 12-11.

Shreveport Force started out the second quarter with a 5-0 run sealed with a three from Wolfe.  PCA retook the lead with a three-pointer from  Grant  Gordon.   A free thrown was the remaining shot for the Shreveport Force in the first half as Providence took a 20-18 lead into halftime.

The Force also went on a 15-2 run at the beginning of the second half saw them take a double-digit lead at 33-23 with two minutes remaining in the quarter.    Shreveport Force got the hot hand in the third quarter as they shot 9 for 13 from the field as they piled on 20 points in the third quarter.  Becton scored 8 of his points in the quarter.   A three from Orr followed by another basket brought the Knights to within seven of the close of the third quarter.  Shreveport Force held the 37-30 lead going into the final frame.

The hot hand continued in the final quarter as the Shreveport Force made 9 of 12 shots.   Adding to the hot hand was the ice-cold shooting of the Knights in the final six minutes as they complete one field goal during that time.   Shreveport Force took advantage with an 18-0 run in the final to run away with the game to 59-36.

The PCA Knights break their three-game winning streak and drop to 3-5.  The Knights hope to bounce back as they travel to Monroe on Friday to take on River Oaks Mustangs.
