If you blinked, you’d missed it.  This Thursday and Friday will be halfway through the football season.  Local teams are starting to dive into district battles and play key games to form the playoff route.

Key 3 Matchup

Arcadia (4-0, 1-0) v Glenbrook (4-0, 1-0)

This will be a key District 1-A matchup with the two undefeated squads. The Hornets have surprised this year and not just made close calls but have handily defeated them.  Glenbrook has shown that they are a force to reckon with in District 1-A. They have multiple weapons on offense and defense they could use.  The foe they may be looking forward to is Homer, but hopefully, they don’t overlook Arcadia.

North Caddo (3-1) v West Ouachita (4-0)

North Caddo’s only blemish came at the hands of powerhouse Neville last week.  They have to go on the road again and face West Ouachita.  North Caddo will look to allow Omarion Miller, KJ Black, and Aiden Brock to shine.

Lakeview (3-1) v Delta Charter (2-1)

Dillon Pikes has been the spark to the Gators’ success this year.  Lakeview has the momentum coming off giving LaSalle their first loss of the season.

Lincoln Prep (2-2) v Lakeside (2-2)

Ringgold (1-3, 1-0) v Homer (3-1, 1-0)

Red River (1-3) v Logansport (3-1)

Winnfield (3-1) v Bunkie (1-3)

Tensas (1-3) v Cedar Creek (2-2)
