Last weekend saw, Class B & C teams spread around to play in some early season tournament.
In Class B, Doyline traveled to Ebarb to participate in their tournament. Meanwhile, Dodson Panthers and Saline Bobcats competed in the Calvin Tournament.
Castor had to sole regular-season game as they fell to the undefeated Pleasant Eagles 61-40 at home. Frederick Ford and Christopher Scott each piled in 13 points for the Eagles. Montonious Burroughs added 12. J. Clark led the Castor Tigers with 12 points. J. Wallace and C. Young each contributed 10 to the Tigers’ effort.
All District 1-C teams competed in the Gibsland Coleman tournament. The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Rebels had great success as they swept all their games.

Some district 1-A teams will be starting gams on Tuesday night. Big tournament in the upcoming week as the Lakeside Tournament will feature a lot of the Class A, B, & C competition as Arcadia (Boys & Girls), Calvary (Girls), Homer (Boys & Girls), Doyline (Boys & Girls), Gibsland-Coleman (Boys & Girls), Ringgold (Boys & Girls), and Magnolia Charter(Boys).
