The Saline Lady Bobcats did it again on Thursday night as they swept a doubleheader against the Ringgold Lady Redskins. The original location was supposed to be a home game for Ringgold, but the games were moved to Saline. Cambry Bates, Kylie Bates, and Allyson Roberts all blasted home runs. Cambry Bates had a big night going 5 for 6 with six RBI’s. Kylie Bates was a jet on the bases as she went 3 for 5 with four RBI’s and seven stolen bases. Game 1
Saline Lady Bobcats 16, Ringgold Lady Redskins 0
Jordan Williams shot to left field scoring two runners gave the Lady Bobcats the early 3-0 lead. Cambry Bates single followed by Kylie Bates double continued the scoring for Saline. Jaydan William hit to shortstop was bobbled and scored one more to give the Lady Bobcats the 6-0 lead. Jordan Williams double started Saline off in the second. Williams proceeded to steal around the horn to score the lone run in the second up 7-0. A big inning with three separate home runs piled on to the scoreboard. Cambry Bates started the home run extravaganze with a two-run bullet over centerfield. Allyson Roberts got the second home run with a bomb over the left-field corner fence and scored on the 3-run homer. Kylie Bates joined the fun lastly with another homer over the left-field fence and picked up the win
Game 2
Saline Lady Bobcats 18, Ringgold Lady Redskins 0
Saline baserunning started the majority of the scoring at the beginning as Alyssa Peoples, Jordan Williams, and Kylie Bates all scoring by stealing home. Saline piled on an 8-0 lead in the first. Pitching woes continued to put Saline runner on base. Allyson Roberts with a pop to left field added two more runs. Cambry triple to right field scored three more as Saline rolled to 4-0 for the year.
