LCU (10-6, 4-0) remained undefeated with a sweep of Texas College in the Red River Conference. The Lady Wildcats are close to passing last season’s 15-9 record which was the best record in their overall eight seasons.  

Centenary (0-10, 0-2) kicked off SCAC conference play falling over the weekend to Murray and the University of Dallas.  Kristi Hinze pulled a top performance for the Ladies over the three matches of the weekend.

Grambling (3-8) had only one match but it was a weekend’s worth of a match with a 3-2 win over Nicholls State.  Two of the sets needed extra points including the final set.  

ULM (4-8) took two of three at the Dr. Pam Littleton Classic in Stephenville, TX.  ULM took wins over Houston Christian and Alcorn State and fell to Tarleton State.  Arianna Brown led the Warhawks with 37 kills and 8 aces.  Morgan Howard had 80 assists.

Louisiana Tech (6-7) competed in the Pelican Invitationals in New Orleans. The Lady Bulldogs took a win over the host team but came up short against UC Riverside and Georgia State.   

NSU (5-4) had the week off to get ready for Southland Conference play.
