The Lincoln Prep Panthers took a holiday visit to the Crescent City to compete in the Allstate Sugar Bowl National Prep Classic. The University of Buffalo commit Chanse Robinson and his squad competes in the National Bracket which featured teams from as far north as Illinois and Pennsylvania and far east as South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. The Panthers opened up against the Kentucky 6A powerhouse Male High School Bulldogs from Louisville, Kentucky

MALE BULLDOGS (KY) (8-1) 79, LINCOLN PREP PANTHERS (9-5) 67
Male took the early 35-22 lead into halftime and held on for the win in the first round of the National Bracket at Arario Center at Westwego.
Freshman Kalen Glenn recorded a double-double for the Bulldogs with 21 points and 15 rebounds as the Bulldogs moved on in the National Bracket. Glenn was aided by Trey Stone and Jake Evans who each bucketed 14 points. Cameron Pope added 11 for the Bulldogs.

The Panthers didn’t roll over for the Kentucky team as Chanse Robinson had his double-double with 31 points and 15 rebounds. The Payne duo piled in the point also. Meci bucketed 20 and Fred chipped in 11 points.

The Panthers get one more shot at another national opponent as they face Gray Collegiate War Eagles from Lexington, South Carolina at 8 pm on Friday. The War Eagles lost in double overtime 89-82 to Catholic-Baton Rouge.
