Local teams traveled to compete in local tournaments around the area. Summerfield and Castor traveled down the I-20 corridor to compete in the Choudrant tournament. Calvary and Glenbrook took some extra games at the Ruston tournament. Including the Ruston Tournament, Calvary piled in the game playing six and winning four over the past week. Big performances by Ramsey Walker, Tavia Leadon, Mary Grace Woodle, and DJ Lynch placed them on the Hot 9 performance list for the week. Emma Earnhardt for Glenbrook going 8 for 12 this week with two doubles and a home run pushed her to the list. Lexi Normand and Keily Sumlin for Doyline showed not only dominance with their bats but on the mound also. Kendall Vise continues to be a top Tiger for Castor for the season with her pitching and bat. Tournaments will continue this weekend as local teams will compete in the Saline, Lakeside, Calvary Baptist, and Ouachita Parish.
