Calvary boys had a triple-overtime thriller with local powerhouse Huntington Raiders. Daniel Ortiz bucketed 27 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists. Ben Ponder grabbed a double-double with 14 points, 14 rebounds, and 2 assists. Labree Williams scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Martin McDowell scored 13 points. Will Bagley netted 11 points
Lincoln Prep made a trip west on I-20 for a second straight game and stopped at Airline. The Vikings won by 5 but got a scare from the defending state runner-up. Kobe Mack led the Panthers with 17. J’Colby Roberson netted 13. Bra’lyn Mayfield and Emmanuel Bryant each scored 10.
Dodson Panthers picked up a win over LaSalle on Tuesday night. Caleb Barton had a barrage of 3-pointers as he nailed 4 in the first quarter en route to 22 points. Caiden Hall added a strong 10 point second quarter towards a 20 point performance.
Dodson Lady Panthers didn’t have as much luck as they fell to LaSalle on Tuesday. Sadie Beaubeouf was the top scorer for Dodson with 8 points.
