The Calvary Cavaliers were originally scheduled to play Magnolia Charter, but COVID-19 struck their schedule again. They had to travel north about five hours to take on the Clarksville Panthers (2-5).

Joseph Wilson had a massive offensive attack with 210 yards total offense (98 rushing, 112 receiving) and piling on five touchdowns for the Panthers. Junior quarterback Landy Lyddy passed the thousand-yard mark with his 199 yards and two touchdown performance. Miles Williams busted into the end zone for the Cavs for a touchdown

The Cavs defense came up big in the win. Dustin Lang’s defensive prowess dominated the Panthers with 13 tackles and an interception. Lang assisted with 10 of those tackles. Calvary defense caused havoc behind the line of scrimmage as they collected 12 tackles for loss in the Ozark game. Trey Kelly had most with 3 tackles for along in his 11 tackles that led the solo tackle category with four. Cade Bedgood dominating performance with 12 tackles (3 solo, 9 assists). Jeremiah Brown and Johnathan Elie had strong games with six and five tackles, respectively. Jayce Gill stole one from the Panthers with an interception.

Calvary hopefully will get to play their second district game of the season as they will take a road trip to Claiborne Parish to take on the Homer Pelicans in a key district matchup. One will come out with a blemish on their district record after Friday night.
