Hurricane Francine caused some havoc in Week 2.  Calvary was initially supposed to face Westgate.  Neville also had their game canceled.  So the two powerhouse teams took the opportunity to challenge each other in Shreveport and added a classic at the end.  After this week, only three teams remained undefeated, Haynesville, Winnfield, and Lakeside.  Calvary’s Abram Wardell doubled the number of yards of the second-place passer of the week and tossed 6 touchdowns in the process.  Calvary also had 1-2 on the receiving list with Kolby Thomas and Kaleb Tucker.  Lakeside’s Taron Riley topped the rushing list.

Next week, the Homer-Haynesville clash is one of the highlights of the week.  This year it doesn’t involve a district game but the pride is still on the line.  Also, Green Oaks will play in the Soul Bowl in Shreveport
