The Saline Bobcats gave the Panther a scare late in the game but a sixth man brought the Panther over for the win. “We didn’t play to our potential and we played to our competition,” said Dodson Coach Chris Price. “We know that they are a good young team. We turned it around when we needed.”
Neither team could get much of an advantage in the first quarter. The Panthers did have to contend with Ethan Roberts as he dominates in the paint as he powered seven points in the opening quarter. Dodson ended the quarter slightly up 11-8.

“My team is a really good deep ball shooting team,” Price said. “I told them to work it around and find the momentum and shoot the tree.”

Off the bench came Quinton Edward to cause havoc. Edward popped a three from the wing to announce his arrival into the game. Roberts tied the game once again.
