Baseball is in full swing now around the area for local team.  Mother Nature held back a few teams from starting their season, but a few locals got in some tournaments during the week.   Calvary traveled to South Louisiana and took on some former state champs in Barbe and St. Louis.  The Cavaliers held their own with the big boys despite not always getting the “W”.   Pitching was stout for the Cavaliers holding these powerhouse teams to some minimal runs.    New kids on the block in LHSAA, Glenbrook headed across the  Texas border and took two out of three from those teams.  The wins paid off on the Hot Performance 9 for Glenbrook placing three on the list.   Haynesville only got a single game in but big performances pushed four players on the list.
